Guest Speaker Bob Soule of Go Electric DMV
You are invited to join us tomorrow, Tuesday, November 18, at 7 PM for our next chapter meeting featuring Bob Soule of Go Electric DMV.
Go Electric DMV is a non-profit group formed last year to help homeowners in the DC-Maryland-Virginia area electrify their lives. The team’s volunteer electric coaches have been trained in Rewiring America’s Electric Coach Course and have experience electrifying their own homes and helping their neighbors do the same—allowing them to enjoy the benefits of a healthier, safer, more comfortable and more convenient home with improved energy efficiency. The free consultations cover home electrification topics ranging from heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, and induction cooktops to energy audits and weatherization and rooftop solar systems, as well as electric vehicles and charging systems. They are conducted at the homeowner’s convenience by Zoom discussions and emails. Consultations can be requested at goelectricdmv.org.

Registration is required for the tree rescue events because of limited parking in some locations.
Guest Speaker Scott Graham to Discuss ‘The Climate Boot Camp’ Free Online Course
Join us for a presentation by chapter member Scott Graham at the upcoming general membership meeting on Tuesday, April 29, between 7:00 to 8:00 PM.

He will share a short presentation on the development and expansion of The Climate Boot Camp, a program initially developed in 2021 through partnership with Climate Reality Project and Harvard Alumni for Climate and the Environment. Billed as a “Sustainability Leadership Workshop for Climate Leaders”, we will learn how this free online course can help us create effective action within our chapter.
