Guest Speaker Scott Graham to Discuss ‘The Climate Boot Camp’ Free Online Course
Join us for a presentation by chapter member Scott Graham at the upcoming general membership meeting on Tuesday, April 29, between 7:00 to 8:00 PM.
Scott recently earned a Master’s Degree in Natural Resources and a Graduate Certificate in Global Sustainability from Virginia Tech. He will share a short presentation on the development and expansion of The Climate Boot Camp, a program initially developed in 2021 through partnership with Climate Reality Project and Harvard Alumni for Climate and the Environment. Billed as a “Sustainability Leadership Workshop for Climate Leaders”, we will learn how this free online course can help us create effective action within our chapter.
We will encourage chapter members to register for the June Climate Boot Camp sessions so that we can take the course together as the Climate Reality Project Northern Virginia Chapter!
